What is soundmasking?
Soundmasking homogenizes the constantly fluctuating noise level in an office environment, improving the acoustic well-being of the employees. A hardly noticeable noise smoother masks low volume noise and allows for a constant basic noise level. Conversations in the vicinity or a ringing telephone are no longer perceived as disturbing.

What are the technical requirements?
Through a digital sound system a pleasant and non-intrusive sound is transmitted via a system of loudspeakers. This evenly distributed constant sound level can be adjusted by means of a central control system to suit to the respective working environment. The soundmasking system is set up according to the office layout. Should the office layout or its usage need to be changed a new adjustment can be achieved quickly and efficiently.
The acoustically optimized office!
The planning objective is to achieve the highest possible acoustic comfort at each individual workplace. With a simulation program the result of the planning can be determined beforehand.
Room acoustic planning must consider all the relevant components. These include both passive components like acoustic ceilings, carpets and sound absorbing partitioning and the active component - the electro acoustic masking equipment (soundmasking/auditory masking).
